First, we want to know everything.

Who’s the ring for? What’s their style? What’s your timeline and budget? Is it a surprise, or are you designing together? Our first step in the process is an introductory consultation. In that first meeting, we’ll get to know you and answer any questions you have about us.

Time to get
into the
details.

Following the introductory session, we’ll likely have a few more questions for you. At this stage we’re looking to hear about the type of gemstone (or gemstones), color/material of the band, setting styles, and any reference images to point us in the right direction.

Bringing your
vision to life.

Once you have shared your thoughts and ideas on what you want the ring to look like, we will develop a mood board and several hand-sketched designs for your review. This step allows for several rounds of comments and edits, until you’re confident and happy with the final design.

The diamond
journey begins.

Now that we have the sketch finalized, it’s time to select a center stone and any side stones for the ring. There are over 20 metrics used to evaluate stones from all over the world, and we’re here to simplify and explain those metrics. Our goal is to arrive at an intersection of maximum size and brilliance while keeping within your allocated budget.

We will then present the best 2-4 gemstone options (after negotiating directly with dealers to get the best price possible). We will also clearly explain the differences and variances between the stones we show. You’ll walk away with brand-new knowledge of the 4 Cs.

From a sketch
to a tangible
piece of jewelry.

This step can run in tandem with step 4, as we turn your ring into a 3D ring. The 3D model of the ring will be finessed to the correct proportions and sized to fit the finger of the recipient. Following your sign off, the ring will be made into the metal you have chosen and then the gemstone/s will be handset to complete the ring. This final stage is also when any engravings can be added, if requested.

The final
logistics before
the Moment.

The final steps of this process include your ring being appraised by an independent gemologist, insured at that appraisal value and then hand-delivered to you. Given we are working at wholesale not retail prices (and have very little overhead), rings made with us are appraised to have a retail replacement value of 10-30% greater than the cost you will pay for the ring.

Let’s make
something
beautiful
together.
